Our clothing is sourced from manufacturers that adhere to Globally recognized certifications including; WRAP, SEDEX, PETA Approved Vegan.
Sustainable Organizations
We work with manufacturers that collaborate with like-minded organizations to collectively drive forward sustainable change. These include; United Nations Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Change Action, Science Based Target Initiative, Fair Wear Foundation, Textilbündnis, and the Textile Exchange.
Made in the USA
We love to support local businesses and manufacturing domestically helps to reduce our carbon footprint. Our printing and embellishments are designed and decorated here in California.
We manufacture our chenille varsity patches, felt, and labels in the USA, and will soon be launching USA-made Wool Varsity Jackets!
Reduce, Re-Use, Re-Cycle
We continue to learn and evolve to make our products more sustainable. Part of reducing our impact is making products more responsibly. Globally USD 460 billion worth of clothing is thrown away every year that could be continued to be worn. We design our products to be loved, cherished, and then either kept as a keepsake to be passed onto family or friends or recycled to be worn again. A growing number of our products are ‘Made To Order’ or available for ‘Pre-Order’. This production method vastly reduces overproduction and clothing waste generated by traditional manufacturing supply chain processes.
MATERIALS
Organic Cotton
A growing number of our products include organic cotton. Organic cotton is grown without harmful pesticides and fertilizers, meaning that agricultural land stays fertile longer, and workers' health is dramatically improved. GOTS-certified cotton ensures that everyone in the supply chain, from farmer to factory, is honoring organic practices. GOTS-certified cotton also audit for both social and environmental standards.
Recycled Polyester
Many of our sweatshirt fleece products contain rPET (Recycled Polyester). Using recycled content helps to reduce the use of fossil fuels used to make virgin polyester fiber, divert waste from landfill, and generates less carbon footprint in its manufacture.
Responsibly Sourced Wool
The wool blend felt used in our pennants meets Australian Animal Welfare guidelines, and complies with the following regulations; ISO 9001: 2015 certification, California Proposition 65, REACH, RoHS. And it’s manufactured right here in the USA!
Arbor Day Foundation
The premium birch wood used to make our pennant wooden dowels comes from our supplier which partners with the Arbor Day Foundation. Founded in 1972, the centennial of the first Arbor Day celebration, the Arbor Day Foundation is the largest nonprofit dedicated to planting trees. Through their programs, and with the help of their partners, they have planted more than 350 million trees in neighborhoods, communities, cities, and forests throughout the world to ensure a greener and healthier future for everyone.
QR Code traceability
Many of our Organic Cotton and Organic Cotton blend products have QR code labeling. Scan the QR code to see the benefit of choosing organic, measure your garment's impact and get traceability on your garment's supply chain.
PACKAGING
Envelopes
Our cardboard envelopes are FSC certified and made of 100% recycled material. We use glassine bags for some of our internal shipping packaging, which is made from sustainably grown trees, is plastic free and curbside recyclable.
Garment Bags
We use compostable garment bags which are certified home and commercially compostable, and break down in 180 and 90 days respectively.
Boxes
Our shipping boxes are made of 100% recycled content, 95% PCW (post consumer waste), they are plastic-free, curbside recyclable, naturally biodegradable, and made in the USA.
Stickers
Our stickers are printed with compostable ink, use a non toxic adhesive, the backing is curbside recyclable and even the rolls they come on are made from FSC certified compostable cardboard!
